Does the "E" stand for “Entitled or "Excellent"?

Black YouthI was asked an interesting question during a radio interview related to the so called "sense of entitlement" of the younger “me, me, me” generation which tends to carry over into the workplace once they become employees.  And, I was told that I gave an interesting answer which was rather than calling it a "sense of entitlement", perhaps it would be better described as a "sense of excellence".  Here’s what I mean.

Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

Fredrick Bruce Thomas (Fyodor Fyodorovich Tomas)Recently, I had the opportunity to hear Sir Terry Leahy, former CEO of Tesco at a conference and he signed a copy of his book Management in 10 Words.  I thought some of these words could be applied to African Americans in the wide spectrum of the international business community.  Courage and Act were two words from his book that caught my attention.
