THE WOMEN OF COLOR CONFERENCE AUG. 1-3, 2011
The Women of Color Conference is coming to the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino's Convention Center this coming Augest to host a conference about female advancement in the corporate world. Expect many informative and enlightening sessions from successful businesswomen and authors.
How to climb the career ladder and command a higher salary. What messages body language conveys to others. Successfully walking the professional tightrope. Ways to propel careers forward. For career and professional women seeking insight into these topics and much more, The MGM Resorts Foundation presents the Fifth Annual Women of Color Conference.
The event is considered one of the nation’s prominent annual gatherings of career and professional women. All conference proceeds this year will benefit organizations serving women and girls.
The Women of Color Conference offers information, perspectives, strategies and inspiration regarding issues of concern to women and men supporting women, to enhance their personal and professional development as individuals and leaders.

Gossiping for Good
This session will offer strategies to help participants start and build a network of supporters and resources to advance their careers. It will be followed by a speed networking session at which session leaders/panelists will be stationed at tables to preview topics that will be discussed over the next two days.
