Earn a UM Bachelor's Degree at Half the Tuition

University of MiamiThe University of Miami is hosting a free online information session on Saturday, September 12 for the Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) degree program. The BGS program is an interdisciplinary degree designed for adults interested in pursuing an affordable and flexible bachelor’s degree or applying previously-earned credits toward a four-year degree.

WHAT: The event will provide an opportunity for one-on-one advisement with BGS staff, financial aid and career services representatives, and Q&A sessions with program alumni. Complimentary breakfast will be provided. The $75 BGS application fee will be waived for all attendees.

The BGS program has helped many adults pursue an undergraduate degree, including UM alumnus Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, BGS ’95. Conveniently designed for the adult learners, the program has flexible day, evening, weekend, and a growing assortment of online classes. Students customize their curriculum, selecting an area of concentration that is best aligned with their career and personal goals.

At $775 per credit, the BGS degree affords a 59% tuition savings from the cost of a traditional UM undergraduate degree and a streamlined admissions process.

WHEN: Saturday, September 12, 2015
9:00 a.m. - noon EST
