NBMBAA 33rd Annual ConferenceCHICAGO – The National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA®), one of the most respected organizations serving Black professionals, business owners, MBA graduates and students announced that it will compliment its highly anticipated 33rd Annual Conference and Exposition by hosting several nightlife and lifestyle events to ensure that attendees enjoy an exciting mix of professional and personal development, entertainment and cultural activities. 

The NBMBAA® conference is being held Tuesday, October 4 through Saturday, October 8 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta and is expected to draw nearly 12,000 executives, entrepreneurs, students, and more than 350 corporations and public sector organizations looking to hire MBA graduates, seasoned professionals, and interns for available positions across the country.

Designed to enhance the conference experience, the nightlife and lifestyle events provide registered attendees, corporate partners, special guests and other luminaries with an opportunity to visit the Martin Luther King Jr.

National Historic Site; explore the inner workings of the World of Coca-Cola and take the Inside CNN Tour; enjoy theatrical and music performances, and unwind and continue networking at a few of Atlanta’s newest upscale venues.

“Our nightlife and lifestyle events are an integral part of the conference experience,” said NBMBAA President and CEO Kimberly Corbin.  “As professionals, our core focus is to build and maintain our careers and businesses.  We must also remember the importance of creating balance in our lives, and make time to relax, rejuvenate and have some fun as well.”

The festivities will begin on Wednesday, October 5 with “Remembering” a riveting theatrical performance featuring The Creative Outlet Dance Theater of Brooklyn at the Rialto Theater. The piece honors the legacy of the ancestors while intertwining the history of the NBMBAA into a multimedia masterpiece of dance, music, story telling and song.  The lavish official Welcome Reception hosted by Delta Airlines and the NBMBAA will follow in the Grand Atrium of Atlanta’s most elegant and historic venue 200 Peachtree.
